    This is a more authentic atmosphere for spiritual aspiration and practice. It's definately NOT a resort...but it never wants to be.

    I found it beautiful and super inspiring...including my initial reactions to it not being a resort.

    It's really something...i think perspective changes with the welcoming of an acceptance for where you are...like a magic trick. It was really hard at first, it's understandable. Think more Gandhi's ashram in Wardha i believe it was. Actually his ashram was 1000 times more strict. Ananda ashram doesnt get u up at any time, nobody makes you go to fire ceremony or anything, nobody tries to coerce! When u walk into it you're welcomed warmly and then... that experience...that's the air conditioning!

    For me it was transformative and the location in this life where i got to meet wonderful Ma Bha too before her mahasamadhi!
